Original vintage poster published by the British Field Sports Society to encourage new members to join the organisation: The more we get together, the stronger we shall be - British Field Sports Society. Colourful featuring a master of the fox hunt wearing his red riding outfit entering a country pub with his hound, three men standing at the bar holding their beer tankards, one with a rifle gun leaning against the bar, and more men sitting at a table in the foreground, one smoking a pipe and the other holding his dog, with empty drink glasses on another table and the pub dog lying under on the wooden floor, a framed fish on the wall, the text above and below in stylised black letters against a red background and the address corrected to 137 Victoria Street London SW1 with space for the Honorary Local Secretary's details. The British Field Sports Society, Countryside Business Group and Countryside Movement merged to form the Countryside Alliance in 1997. Printed in England by McCorquodale & Co., Ltd., London. Good condition, waving in bottom half, small creases in margins.

Are your posters originals?
All our antique and vintage posters, books, maps and prints listed on our website are guaranteed originals as detailed in their photographs and descriptions, and include a certificate of authenticity.
What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
