Original vintage advertising poster for the British truck manufacturer Bedford featuring an aerial view of a loaded red Bedford truck driving in the countryside past a house and a field with the text above and the Bedford and General Motors logos below. Based in Luton Bedfordshire, Bedford Vehicles was founded in 1930 by Vauxhall Motors to produce commercial lorries, trucks and vans; the company was taken over by the American company General Motors in 1925. Printed by Lund & Balling - Albert C. Petersen. Very good condition, small bumps on margins, small tape on corners, writing on bottom right corner.

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
