Original antique advertising poster for a popular cycling magazine Bearings featuring a great Art Nouveau style design by the American artist Charles Arthur Cox depicting a lady in fashionable dress standing on the side with an umbrella looking towards an unhappy man cycling in the rain with the water splashing up from his bike and trees visible through the downpour, the artwork set within a red border decorated with calligraphic lettering down the side and yellow swirls - Bearings Out Today For Sale Here. Very good condition, small tears on left and right margins, minor paper loss at bottom left and right corners, backed on linen.

Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?

Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.

With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography. 

Where do you deliver to?

We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.

Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
