Original vintage cinema poster for the French re-release of the classic Walt Disney animation film Bambi (1942) also featuring Disney's Water Birds (1952) in the movie programme. Walt Disney presente en Technicolor Bambi – Au meme programme: Oiseaux Aquatiques. Great image of the young deer Bambi with his rabbit friend Thumper in front of some grass and flowers with little birds on the branches of a tree above them, the stylised text text across the centre with the information and credit text above and below. Printed by S.I.P., Paris. Good condition, folded as issued, pinholes on margins, faint creases and small scratches.

Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
