Original vintage travel poster for Air France promoting their Scandinavia flight route from Paris to Stockholm by plane and train via Brussels Hamburg Copenhagen and Malmo - featuring an Art Deco design showing the cities marked on a map of the northern part of Europe with an illustration of Stockholm City Hall / Stockholm Stadhus (opened 1923) at the top, the building and crown topped tower reflected on the water below and the bold red lettering with the iconic Air France seahorse (pegasus / hippocampe aile) logo in the C along the bottom. Very good condition, staining, backed on linen.

Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
