Original vintage travel poster advertising Royal Mail Lines Pacific Line passenger and cargo services to the East and West Coast of South America featuring a colourful illustration of a lady in a red top, green skirt and straw hat in front of a pale blue background, dancing with maracas, the text in black and white letters on the side and below. Royal Mail Lines (1932-1965) was a leading cruise ship operator created to take over The Royal Mail Steam Packet Company (founded 1839); in 1965 it was taken over by a British transport operator, Furness Withy & Company (1891-1980). Very good condition, restored fold marks, restored pin holes and light creasing in margins, backed on linen.
