Original vintage cruise travel poster - Vers la France Compagnie Maritime des Chargeurs Reunis - issued by the maritime company Chargeurs Reunis featuring colourful artwork by the French artist Albert Brenet (1903-2005) of people enjoying food and drink on the outdoor tables of the famous Cafe de la Paix (since 1862) framed by a tree in front of the historic Opera de Paris Opera (founded 1669) with buses at the traffic lights and fashionably dressed ladies walking with a dog across the road towards the viewer, the bold lettering in red below and in stylised blue lettering above. Fair condition, restored paper losses in margins, restored pinholes, staining, backed on linen.
