Margaritten Tag Daisies Day Dresden

£900.00

Blumentag / Flower Days were held in Germany from 1910-1914 in support of child and baby nursery care in local hospitals raising funds by selling artificial flowers for donations; the Margeritentag was a popular choice as the white marguerites daisy flower is a symbol of mercy and compassion. Horizontal. Good condition, restored paper losses, restored tears, restored creasing, backed on linen.
