Original vintage aviation poster advertising issued by Malev Hungarian Airlines - Fly Malev to the USSR via Budapest - featuring a colourful mosaic collage style illustration depicting a plane flying across a multicoloured sky in front of an orange red and yellow sun with city buildings and the domes and spires of St Basil's Cathedral in Moscow below. The national carrier of Hungary Malev (1946-2012) was based in Budapest and operated national and international services. The historic Orthodox Cathedral of Vasily the Blessed / Saint Basil's Cathedral is located on Red Square in Moscow Russia and is now a museum. Artwork by the notable Hungarian poster designer and artist Mate Andras (1921-2000). Very good condition, tears, creasing.
