[ON RESERVE 23/09/21] Original vintage travel advertising poster - Coronation Year Come to Britain in 1953 - to celebrate the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II featuring a colourful image depicting the procession with the Royal Carriage led by white horses coming down from Buckingham Palace past the Victoria Memorial onto the Mall in London with Royal Guards lining the way and the public cheering and waving flags behind them under the trees, the stylised text above in bold stylised yellow, blue and red letters. Elizabeth II (Elizabeth Alexandra Mary; b. 1926) was coronated on 2 June 1953 in Westminster Abbey at the age of 25 following the death of her father King George VI (Albert Frederick Arthur George; 1895-1952). Published by the British Travel and Holiday Association and printed by Brown Knight and Truscott. Very good condition, minor creasing, pinholes.
