Chateau De Compiegne Napoleon Imperial Palace


Original vintage travel poster for the Chateau De Compiegne Le Palais Imperial in France, the royal summer residence that was built in 1374 and restored by Napoleon Bonaparte (1769-1821), featuring a great design depicting an architectural drawing of the grand chateau behind a large letter N for Napoleon below his military hat with the bold lettering and an eagle from the Napoleonic coat of arms of the first French Empire (founded 1804) on a green banner in the centre. The Chateau De Compiegne in Oise northern France is now home to three museums (since 1927). Good condition, folds, small tears, and minor stains.
