Stirling Moss / J. Finch 2. Juan M. Fangio / K. Kling 3. Graf B.v. Trips / A. Simon featuring a dynamic design depicting a Mercedes Benz 300 SLR car racing at speed below the Mercedes logo and text in bold letters with flags forming part of the Mercedes Benz name in the background. Mercedes-Benz was founded in 1926 as the result of a merger between Daimler-Motoren-Gesellschaft (founded 1890) and Benz & Cie (founded 1890); the Mercedes Benz 300 SLR sports car made its debut at the 1955 Mille Miglia. Held on 18 September in Northern Ireland, the 1955 RAC Tourist Trophy winning Formula One racing drivers were the British Stirling Moss (1929-2020), American John Fitch (1917-1912), Argentinian Juan Manuel Fangio (1911-1995), Italian Karl Kling (1910-2003), German Wolfgang von Trips (1928-1961) and French Andre Simon (1920-2012). Excellent condition.
