Original vintage poster for an exhibition from 12 March to 15 May at the Alten Rathaus / Old Town Hall entitled Arbeiterheit Zerschlug Kapp-Putsch Das fiasko einer Militardiktatur / Workers Smashed the Kapp Putsch The Fiasco of a Military Dictatorship featuring an image of people armed with rifle guns and waving red flags preparing for battle behind a barricade of wooden barrels and sacks with the cities of Rostock, Berlin, Essen, Suhl, Greiz, Leipzig and Glashutte marked by red dots on yellow with the information above and below. The failed Kapp Putsch / Kapp-Luttwitz Putsch was the attempted coup d'etat led by the nationalist Wolfgang Kapp (1858-1922) and the WWI German Army general Walther von Luttwitz (Walther Karl Friedrich Ernst Emil Freiherr von Luttwitz; 1859-1942) to overthrow the democratic government of the Weimar Republic and replace it with a military dictatorship in 1920. Horizontal. Good condition, folds, staining, discolouration, small tears.
