Original vintage Soviet anti-alcohol propaganda health poster - Happy Is He Who Doesn't Drink Wine - from a set of posters issued during the partial prohibition anti-alcohol campaign introduced by Mikhail Gorbachev from 1985-1987 colloquially known as the Dry Law in the Soviet Union, featuring artwork in a Russian lubok style depicting a man sitting at the head of the dinner table surrounded by his wife and children with food and drink on the red table cloth, a teapot on a samovar with tea cups and sushki bread rings on the plates, and the stylised lettering on a yellow banner held by the wings of a bird figure with a lady's head above a brick arch over the image. Good condition, tears, creasing, minor staining.
