Original vintage German World War Two propaganda poster featuring an illustration representing the unity of the nation and the unity of the war front and home depicting a man rolling up his sleeves and stepping forward to participate in the war above soldiers in uniform armed with guns advancing in the front and people holding with scythes and hammers marching behind them, the bold text in grey and red letters above and below: Alle kraft gespannt! Totaler Krieg - Kurzester Krieg! All armed! Total War - Shortest War! In February 1943 the Reich Minister of Propaganda of Nazi Germany Joseph Goebbels declared a Total War after the German Army defeat at the Battle of Stalingrad Russia with the aim of achieving Final Victory by calling on each National Comrade to participate and commit to helping with the war effort. Large size. Fair condition, paper loss on image, staining, folds, repaired tears.
