Raleigh All Steel Bicycle Dickens

Original vintage mid-century advertising poster for Raleigh The All-Steel Bicycle featuring a great illustration by the pin up artist Dickens (1907-2004) depicting a smiling young lady wearing a blue mini skirt and a red chequered shirt, sitting on a garden chair enjoying a drink and looking out towards the viewer with her shiny new blue bike leaning against a tree in the background, set within a yellow border with the stylised red and blue title text next to the Raleigh heron head logo below. Founded in 1885 and one of the oldest bicycle brands in the world, Raleigh is a British manufacturer of bicycles based in Nottingham England. Printed in England by A.G. Reynolds and Co Ltd, London. Good condition, restored paper losses, restored creases, erased pencil marks, backed on linen.
