Original antique advertising poster for Humber cycles, a premium British manufacturer of bicycles founded by Thomas Humber (1841-1910) known as "the aristocrat among bicycles" that expanded overseas during the 1890s. Stunning Belle Epoque artwork featuring a well dressed young lady stepping out of a horse drawn carriage with a bellboy wearing a Humber uniform and hat waiting with her bike as a small poodle dog runs playfully in the foreground, people walking, cycling and riding in carriages in the background, the stylised text above. Printed by Lith. G. Bataille, Paris. Large size. Good condition, faint fold lines, light fading, backed on old linen.
