Original vintage World War Two poster - Your Hurricanes In Action Thank You Fiji! - featuring four colourful captioned illustrations depicting Hurricane fighter jets marked with Royal Air Force RAF roundels gifted by Fiji on the ground; showing the planes defending a British industrial town by shooting down an enemy bomber plane; and flying over Nazi Germany to attack the enemy-occupied territory with machine gun fire, in particular shipping, communications and factory targets; and protecting allied merchant ships at sea to ensure vital cargo reaches British ports - thanks to the war gifts from Fiji. The logo and more information on their other donations are given below that include Typhoon and Whirlwind aircraft and motor ambulances, Red Cross and St John Fund, Aid to Russia, St Dunstan's, Dr Bernando's Homes for Children, Malta Air Raid Relief Fund and other contributions. Good condition, light fold, tears on edges, minor creasing.

Are your posters originals?
All our antique and vintage posters, books, maps and prints listed on our website are guaranteed originals as detailed in their photographs and descriptions, and include a certificate of authenticity.
What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
