Original vintage World War Two Soviet propaganda poster featuring a dynamic image of Red Army soldiers in uniform with Soviet stars on their helmets, holding bayonet rifles and a red flag with the Soviet hammer and sickle on it, led by a soldier holding up a pistol gun reflecting an historic image above depicting the Second Volunteer Army on horses and armed with swords led by a knight holding up a sword to lead the charge against the Polish forces in 1612, with a quote in ancient stylised lettering by the 17th century Russian merchant and national hero Kuzma Minin (d. 1616) above: "There will be no force that can enslave us!" and a quote in bold red text by the Soviet leader Joseph Stalin (1878-1953) below: "May the Courageous Image of Our Great Ancestors Inspire You in This War!" Good condition, folds, backed on japan paper, backing folded over slightly on top and bottom margins.

Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
