Original vintage American World War Two recruitment poster - For your country's sake today For your own sake tomorrow Go to the nearest recruiting station of the armed service of your choice - featuring a stunning illustration by Harry Steele Savage (1898-1970) showing four young ladies dressed in the different military uniforms of the Women's Army Auxiliary Corps (WAAC), the Women Accepted for Volunteer Emergency Service US Navy (WAVES), the Marine Corps Women's Reserve and the Coast Guard Women's Reserve (SPARS), set against a dark blue background with the stylised text diagonally in white above and below, and the recruitment information in bold at the bottom. Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?

Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.

With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography. 

Where do you deliver to?

We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
