Rare original vintage World War Two propaganda poster in English - China fights on! United China Relief member agency of the National War Fund - and in Chinese - Unite Against the Enemy and Rebuild our Nation - featuring a dynamic image of a young man in military uniform with the text and planes circling him against the blue shaded background, the planes and his cap bearing the 12-pointed sun symbol of the Chinese military. United China Relief was founded in New York in 1941 to provide funds for the relief and rehabilitation of the Chinese people; the National War Fund (1943-1947) was a philanthropic programme set up to raise funds for the USO and other member agencies and to finance war appeals. Fair condition, restored folds, restored minor paper loss on margins, stains, tape marks, backed on linen.

Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
