Original vintage World War Two warning propaganda poster - Careless Talk Brings Tragedy In Wartime - featuring numbered and captioned illustrations of 1. a young soldier on the phone telling his sweetheart about the troop train followed by 2. the lady telling her father the news then 3. the father sharing the information at his club over a drink with friends where a spy overhears the conversation between the men leading to 4. the spy in glasses instructing the saboteur by phone that results in 5. the saboteur wrecking the train by blowing up the railway tracks, the saboteur depicted as a man in a hat smoking a cigarette with the image of the explosion below. What is a lithograph?

Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.

With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography. 

Where do you deliver to?

We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
