Original vintage anti-British propaganda poster issued in Nazi occupied France during World War Two - Son Dernier Espoir Le Blocus aurai-je assez ... pour eux deux? / His Last Hope The Blockade will I have enough for them both? - featuring an illustration of a malnourished pregnant lady and her young child standing on a map of France and dominated by big dark figure of Winston Churchill (Winston Leonard Spencer-Churchill 1874-1965; Prime Minister 1940-1945 and 1951-1955) wearing a hat and smoking a cigar with a gloved hand, the stylised text above and below. Large size. Very good condition, small stain on bottom margin, minor restoration to original folds, backed on linen.

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
