Original antique poster for a World War One charity aid event - Russian prisoners of war are waiting for our help 31 October to 1 November 1915 - featuring an image by Sergei Arsenyevich Vinogradov (1869-1938) of a lady in traditional clothing holding her hands together in hope and prayer for help next to a flower with the bold stylised Russian lettering on the side in front of historic Kremlin fortress walls and orthodox dome church spires in the background. Very good condition, backed on linen.

Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
