Original vintage PLM Paris Lyon Mediterranee railway travel poster for sport tourism and theatre in the historical spa resort town in the Auvergne Rhone Alpes region of central France - Vichy ses Sources Sports Tourisme Theatre. Stunning Art Deco design by the notable French artist Roger Broders (1883-1953) depicting an elegant lady swinging her golf club in the foreground with golfers on the green by the club house of the Vichy golf course (Golf du Sporting club de Vichy; opened 1908), the river and trees in front of the town leading to hills in the distance with the bold title text above white clouds on the yellow sky background and diagonally below with illustrations of a violin and music notes, a tennis racquet, net and balls on a brown background below. Very good condition, repaired minor tears and creases, backed on linen.

Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
