LT Kenwood House London Transport Country Walks
Original vintage London Transport poster for Kenwood House by the British artist Robert Flavell Micklewright (1923-2013) featuring a painting of the historical 17th century stately home (now managed by English Heritage since 1986) behind a grassy slope and a large tree under the blue sky with the London Underground roundel logo and text below - Kenwood House stands high on the northernmost ridge of Hampstead Heath. Owned and administered by the Greater London Council, this is London's very own country mansion. Its treasures are endless - a Rembrandt self-portrait, Vermeer's precious Guitar Player, Guardis, Constables, Romneys, Gainsboroughs, a wealth of antique furniture, and that masterpiece of Robert Adam's decorative genius, the Library. All this in a matchless setting of lake, lawns and woods, on the very edge of Central London. Kenwood is open free, daily, 10 00-19 00. Underground to Golders Green or Archway, then bus 210. Published by Leonard Ripley & Co Ltd. Very good condition, minor staining, creasing.

FAQs
More information about our posters and service.
Are your posters originals?
All our antique and vintage posters, books, maps and prints listed on our website are guaranteed originals as detailed in their photographs and descriptions, and include a certificate of authenticity.
What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
