Wren was content that St. Paul's should be his memorial - Si monumentum requiris, circumspice - but the capital is rich in buildings that display his protean genius - sombrely dignified St. Lawrence Jewry; intimate St. Vedast, Foster Lane; the Royal Hospital, Chelsea; the tremendous Royal Naval College, Greenwich ...
