Original vintage travel poster for Romantic Malaya (now Peninsular Malaysia and Singapore) featuring a stunning night time illustration of an idyllic sandy beach scene with a calm sea and palm trees in front of a full moon next to the stylised text on the side. The Federated Malay States Railways (FMS) operated the train lines from Singapore to Pedang Besar in northern Malaysia in the early 1900s from 1901-1948. Good condition, restored paper losses on left margin, restored tears.

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
