Trans World Airlines (TWA) was a major American airline from 1924-2001, when it was acquired by American Airlines. The company named their Lockheed L-1649 Starliner aircraft Jetstreams for use on their USA to Europe route from 1957 to the early 1980s; one of the Starliners is now a cocktail lounge at the TWA Hotel (opened 2019). Good condition, restored paper losses in bottom corners, restored tears, restored creasing, backed on linen.

Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
