Colourful view of a busy street lined with Art Deco buildings, skyscrapers and palm trees, an elegantly dressed lady in a bright dress and sun hat, men in suits and more people and classic cars below the blue sky with a plane flying overhead, the image framed like a postage stamp with the text above and below in stylised letters. (The British Overseas Airways Corporation / BOAC was the British state airline created in 1940-1946 as the result of a merger, merging again in 1971-1974 to create British Airways / BA.) Good condition, restore tears on margins, staining on top of the image, backed on linen.

Are your posters originals?
All our antique and vintage posters, books, maps and prints listed on our website are guaranteed originals as detailed in their photographs and descriptions, and include a certificate of authenticity.
What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
