Original vintage post World War Two propaganda poster issued by the SFIO Section Francaise de l'Internationale Ouvriere (The French Section of the Workers' International), featuring an illustration of a smiling man in blue shirt and cap and black trousers, resting his arms on a tool, with a depiction in black of the city in rubble, white construction cranes and silhouettes of future buildings over blue background. Vote For The Socialist Party S.F.I.O. - During World War Two France suffered severe damage to its cities and towns. SFIO, a political party, was founded in 1905 and dissolved in 1969 to transform into the Socialist Party. Very good condition, creasing, small tears, minor staining.

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
