Large original vintage three sheet movie poster for the 1934 Vienna Austria premiere of the 1933 German comedy film The Page from the Dalmasse Hotel / Page vom Dalmasse Hotel directed by Victor Janson and starring Dolly Haas, Harry Liedtke and Hans Junkermann with art direction by Fritz Maurischat and Hans Minzloff. Stunning Art Deco style image of Dolly Haas "in her best role" wearing a smart uniform with hat and gloves, holding a tray of glasses with a champagne bottle, a night view in the background of the hotel with lights and cars, stylised text above and below on a dark background. The film is based on a novel by Maria von Peteani later adapted into a 1958 Austrian film. Artwork by Anton Ziegler (1894-1974). Lithograph printed by Wagner Vienna. Large size. Very good condition, printed on three unattached sheets.

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?

Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
