Original vintage travel advertising poster for the French Railway Wagon-Lits company Paris-Lyon-Mediterranee (PLM), to advertise its train services between London and Vichy by Pullman sleeping wagon. Elegant Art Deco style design by Jean Raoul Chaurand-Naurac (1878-1948) featuring a young lady wearing a fashionable blue dress and hat looking towards the viewer with tea on the table in front of her and a smartly dressed man wearing a suit looking at passing trees in the landscape outside, with a lamp and fruit on the table, his hat and bags on the overhead shelf, colourful flowers around the mirrors and the text above and below in stylised blue and white letters. Printed in France by Lucien Serre & Cie Imp., Paris. Good condition, staining, minor tears and creases on margins.

Are your posters originals?
All our antique and vintage posters, books, maps and prints listed on our website are guaranteed originals as detailed in their photographs and descriptions, and include a certificate of authenticity.
What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
