LT Osterley Park London Transport Country Walks
Original vintage London Transport poster for Osterley Park by the painter and printmaker Richard Beer (1928-2017) featuring the historical Georgian country manor house (built 1570s; remodelled in the 1760s), now an historic house museum, with the armorial eagle statues on the entrance steps and grass lawn in the foreground, the London Underground roundel logo and text below - Osterley Park was originally built by Sir Thomas Gresham in the time of Elizabeth I. But in 1761 the then owner, Sir Francis Child, commissioned Robert Adam to convert and improve the mansion. The result is the magnificent Osterley Park of today, a classical monument, with every single detail, designed by the greatest single architectural genius of the British eighteenth century. Osterley is in the care of the National Trust, open to the public, and, by Piccadilly Line, only thirty minutes from central London. Good condition, minor creasing, minor staining, small tears.

FAQs
More information about our posters and service.
Are your posters originals?
All our antique and vintage posters, books, maps and prints listed on our website are guaranteed originals as detailed in their photographs and descriptions, and include a certificate of authenticity.
What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
