USSR Czechoslovakia Space Mission
Original vintage Soviet space propaganda poster celebrating the joint Soviet-Czech Soyuz 28 Союз 28 space mission on 2 March 1978 featuring a great design depicting two stars representing the flag of Czechoslovakia and the hammer and sickle USSR flag overlapping each other over the path of a space rocket in blue against the dark starry space sky background with the globe of the earth below. This successful mission blasted off from Baykonur in Kazakhstan crewed by the Soviet cosmonaut Aleksei Gubarev (1931-2015) with Vladimir Remek (b.1948), who became the first and so far only Czechoslovak in space. Very good condition, creasing.

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
