Original vintage Soviet space race propaganda poster - For you Humanity! - featuring a smiling cosmonaut in a red suit and wearing a helmet marked CCCP / USSR presenting the moon with an emblem of the Soviet Luna 2 probe on top as a loaf of bread wrapped in a traditional red and white towel decorated with the hammer and sickle on the edges, set against a blue background with the bold text below. Launched on 12 September 1959 the Luna 2 / Луна 2 impacted the surface of the moon detonating pentagonal shields and marking the first successful lunar mission. Silkscreen. Horizontal. Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
