Original vintage Soviet science fiction adventure film Return From Orbit / Возвращение с орбиты directed by Aleksandr Surin about a team of cosmonauts / astronauts sent to evacuate a crew on an orbital station after it was hit during a meteor storm injuring the mission commander. Great sci-fi design depicting a lady's face on the space background with two cosmonauts and planets and stars, the title text running over the earth shown below. Some scenes were filmed at the Yuri Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Centre / Центр подготовки космонавтов имени Ю. А. Гагарина and RKA Mission Control Centre / Центр управления полётами near Moscow and in orbit on the Salyut 7 space station and Soyuz T-9 spacecraft by cosmonauts Vladimir Lyakhov (1941-2018) and Aleksandr Aleksandrov (b.1943). Good condition, creasing, fold, printing faults on top left side, minor staining.

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
