Original vintage movie poster for an American sci-fi film Conquest of Space "See how it will happen… in your lifetime!" directed by Byron Haskin, based on a book by Chesley Bonestell and Willy Ley and starring Walter Brooke, Eric Fleming and Mickey Shaughnessy. Great science fiction image depicting astronauts on the deck of a space station with a spaceship flying away into space, the title across the image in stylised yellow letters with the tagline above in white letters against a red banner and credits below in red and blue letters. Very good condition, restored folds and minor loss on top right corner, backed on linen.

Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
