Original vintage movie poster for the summer 1981 re-release of the classic science fiction film - Star Wars Episode V The Empire Strikes Back - starring Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker, Harrison Ford as Han Solo, Peter Mayhew as Chewbacca, Carrie Fisher as Princess Leia, Alec Guinness as Obi-Wan Kenobi, Frank Oz as Yoda, David Prowse as Darth Vader, Billy Dee Williams as Lando Calrissian, Anthony Daniels as C-3PO and Kenny Baker as R2-D2, produced by George Lucas with music by John Williams. Originally released in 1980, this movie was the second episode of the original Star Wars trilogy. Dramatic sci-fi artwork by the American graphic designer and movie poster artist Tom Jung (b. 1942) featuring Darth Vader looming large over the main characters with At-At Walkers in front of explosions below and fighters flying above with the stylised title text in bright yellow letters and credit text in white against the dark background below. Excellent condition.

Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
