Original vintage Soviet movie poster for the classic sci-fi romance film Amphibian Man / Человек-амфибия starring Vladimir Korenev, Anastasiya Vertinskaya and Mikhail Kozakov, directed by Vladimir Chebotaryov and Gennadi Kazansky based on a science fiction book by Alexander Beliaev about a doctor who operates on his young son so he can survive underwater. Great image showing a young lady dancing against an orange background as a young man walks by in the foreground from a watery blue background with a face in an underwater mask above, the stylised title text flowing like the waves of the sea below. Very good condition, faint creases and folds in margins.

Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
