Original vintage World War Two propaganda poster entitled R.A.F day raiders over Berlin's official quarter The Downfall of the Dictators is Assured featuring dynamic artwork of British de Havilland Mosquito planes dropping bombs over Berlin in Germany with the Royal Air Force RAF roundel visible on the aircraft and Nazi flags flying on the buildings, the roads busy with bus and car traffic beneath the haze, the image set within a pale yellow border, the bold black text below. Printed for H.M. Stationery Office by Fosh and Cross Ltd, London. Very good condition, minor staining, backed on linen.

Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?

Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
