The Battle of the Atlantic between German Nazi U-Boats and Kriegsmarine ships against the Allied navy and merchant shipping forces including the Royal Navy, Royal Canadian Navy and US Navy was fought from 1939-1945, resulting in Allied victory at the end of World War Two and becoming longest naval battle in history and the longest military campaign during WWII. Printed for H.M. Stationery Office by Beck and Inchbold. Good condition, restored tears, small restored paper losses, restored folds, restored pinholes, staining, foxing, backed on linen.

Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
