Be Mine Minded Get to Know Them WWII
Original vintage World War Two propaganda poster for British soldiers issued by the War Office for British soldiers to remind them to beware of and know how to identify booby traps set by the enemy forces - Be Mine Minded Get to Know Them / Mines respect neither service nor rank - featuring a dynamic graphic design of a soldier wearing a helmet with two different types of mines below a red arrow pointing down at them, symbolising them as a trap buried under the ground, with black and white photos of more types of landmines below, the bold stylised text in black letters and the white text running diagonally down the centre. During the Second World War the Germans created various traps and used landmines against tanks and other military vehicles in open area battle zones including the North Africa desert campaigns and Eastern Europe. The War Office was responsible for the administration of the British Army from 1857-1964; now the Ministry of Defence. Very good condition, folds.

FAQs
More information about our posters and service.
Are your posters originals?
All our antique and vintage posters, books, maps and prints listed on our website are guaranteed originals as detailed in their photographs and descriptions, and include a certificate of authenticity.
What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
