The British company Lever Brothers was founded by William Hesketh Lever 1st Viscount Leverhulme (1851-1925) and James Darcy Lever (1854-1916) in 1885 (based in north west England); in 1895 they expanded into the American market (based in Cambridge, Massachusetts); in 1929 the company was renamed Unilever after merging with the Dutch company Margarine Unie (founded 1927) to become the first modern multinational company. Unilever is now based in London England operating worldwide; Unilever USA is based in Englewood Cliffs New Jersey. Good condition, restored tears, restored paper losses, staining, backed on linen.

Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
