Original vintage travel map of London Tramways Transport designed by Lt Colonel W.R. Mansfield and published by London Passenger Transport Board in October 1934. Colourful map indicating a schematic and detailed design of the tramway and trolleybus routes across London from Hampton Court and Uxbridge in the west and clockwise to Barnet, Epping Forest, Dagenham, Dartford, Purley and Sutton, with the London Underground stations and the main line railway stations marked and the River Thames running along the centre, the London Transport Tramways logo and reference box at the bottom right. Horizontal. Good condition, folds, pinholes, minor tears and stains in the margins, backed on linen.

What is a lithograph?

Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.

With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography. 

Where do you deliver to?

We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
