Original vintage advertising poster published by the French energy company Electricity of France (EDF Electricite de France) to promote its borrowing scheme for 1965. Great illustration by the renowned graphic artist Bernard Villemot (1911-1989) and Tauzin featuring a stylised image of bright city lights at night under deep blue sky with the title text above in stylised white and yellow letters and the information text below in blue letters. Edited by Electricite de France. Printed by Imp. S.A. Courbet, Paris. Very good condition, faint creases, small pencil note on top margin.

Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?

Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
