Based in Hawick on the Scottish Borders, the well known knitwear company Peter Scott & Company was established in Hawick on the Borders of Scotland in 1878 manufacturing high quality underwear, outerwear and sportswear; the textile company provided knitted uniform garments during both world wars; after WWII it focused on fashion outerwear to become an international brand by the mid-1980s; in 2010 the company was taken over by Gloverall and in 2016 the factory was permanently closed. Good condition, creasing, staining, backed on board, kickstand on reverse.

Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
