Original vintage movie poster for a Soviet sport comedy The Bicycle Tamers / Укротители велосипедов directed by Yuli Kun and starring Lyudmila Gurchenko in the lead role as Rita with Oleg Borisov and Eduards Pavuls as the two cyclists, about a new racing bike developed by Rita called the Light Blue Antelope that she wants tested at the Tallinn-Riga race. Fun and colourful design against a blue background featuring two racers cycling behind a bike wheel in the foreground, an image of the main character Rita on the side with the stylised title text on the bicycle wheel spokes. Very good condition, small tear on bottom margin.

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
