Original vintage World War Two Soviet propaganda poster - Long Live the 25th Anniversary of the Leninist-Stalinist Komsomol! Dynamic artwork depicting soldiers and workers marching forward into battle armed with their rifle guns and weapons next to an armoured tank under red flags, the central flag featuring portraits of Vladimir Lenin and Josef Stalin and the dates 1918 and 1943 marked on the other flags with a gold Soviet star and Communist hammer and sickle emblem at the top, the bold red lettering in the margin below. Are your posters originals?
All our antique and vintage posters, books, maps and prints listed on our website are guaranteed originals as detailed in their photographs and descriptions, and include a certificate of authenticity.
What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
