Original vintage Great Western Railway travel poster for the Cornish Riviera The Vikings landing on St Ives Beach featuring an historical scene by Percy Spence (1868-1933) depicting Vikings in battle uniform with capes and horned helmets marching up a hill with their spears and shields from a beach in Cornwall and being greeted by a Viking blowing a horn and leaders in decorative winged helmets, their sailing ships on the sea below with seagulls flying in the distance and the bold title text in the margin above and below. Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
